Inhale, Speak
Acrylic and Photograph on Panel

In appreciating and defending the land, we must experience the essence of the territory. Being in the landscape and inhaling deeply of the air and its many subtle carriers of fragrance and history allows us this grace, and gives us the strength to speak of its immeasurable value in defending it.

The wisdom of the trees is the wisdom of the Ancients, in the natural realm, and also runs parallel with the wisdom of the Elders and the ancient cultural heritage and pride which we must pay attention to.
